Art on Market Days Starts in July

The Creative Arts Center in Stuart (334 Patrick Avenue, across from the Farmers’ Market) will play host to five great Art on Market Days programs for youngsters ages 3-10.

Planning to come out to the Stuart Farmers’ Market? If so, drop the kids (ages 3-10) off at the Creative Arts Center across the street for some fun market-themed art activities while you shop. This is a drop-in program from 8:30-11:00, and thanks to sponsorship by the Winston-Salem Foundation, these classes are FREE to the youngsters.

July 7 – Veggie Stamped Aprons
Helping in the kitchen will be more fun with these kid-sized aprons stamped with Brussels sprout roses or other designs.

July 14 – Decorate Flower Pots & Plant a Flower
These papier mache pots are fun and easy to decorate, then choose a flower to plant!

July 21 – Birdseed Ornament Feeders
How much fun to make a bird seed ornament then watch them enjoy the treat.

July 28 – Fruit and Veggie Rock Painting
Imagination is the key to turning smooth river stones into veggies and fruits.

August 4 – Veggie Stamped Tea Towels
Who wouldn’t want to help dry the dishes with one of these cool tea towels decorated with a personal touch?
