Our volunteers help preserve history, welcome visitors, and bring the homestead to life.

Why volunteer at the Reynolds Homestead:

Volunteer opportunities: 

  • Docent/tour guide: share the homestead's history with visitors
  •  Events and programs: assist with a variety of programs and special events
  • Grounds: help maintain gardens and other outdoor spaces
  • Education and youth programming: support campus tours, school field trips, summer camps, and other workshops
  • Administrative support: help with research, data entry, and outreach
  • Food service support: help plan, prepare, and clean up meals and refreshments for events and activities
