Holiday Arts & Craft Fair

SATURDAY, NOV 11 

10 am to 3 pm at the Community Engagement Center, Critz, VA

Reynolds Homestead is pleased to announce the 2023 Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair will be held Saturday November 11, 10am – 3pm. We’re inviting vendors to apply now for a spot at this exciting annual event. Space is limited so register at your earliest convenience to secure your spot. Reynolds Homestead 50+ Celebration - June 2022

 In 1970, Nancy Susan Reynolds presided over the dedication of the Reynolds Homestead. Though we were unable to gather in 2020, we celebrated the Reynolds Homestead 50+ Anniversary in a series of events the weekend of June 18-19, 2022. The free celebration included speakers, local artisans, and music, plus artist P. Buckley Moss was on hand to personally sign her Reynolds Homestead prints. After the anniversary celebration, members of the community and the university officially broke ground on a kitchen expansion at the Community Engagement Center.

A luncheon was held for descendants of Rock Spring Plantation and other honored guests. Richard S. "Mayor" Reynolds and his wife, Pam Reynolds. Descendants of Kitty Reynolds, an enslaved woman at Rock Spring Plantation Kimble Reynolds and Amira Ross, both descendants of Kitty Reynolds, who was enslaved at the Rock Spring Plantation. Ray Smoot, Patrick Reynolds, and Richard S. "Major" Reynolds A groundbreaking was held for a commercial kitchen at the Community Engagement Center.
