Walter Robert Reynolds

The most educated of the family, Walter Robert attended King College in Bristol, Trinity College (Duke University) in North Carolina, and Randolph-Macon in Ashland, Virginia.

He worked briefly for his older brother A.D. Reynolds in Bristol. In 1893 he joined R.J. in Winston, North Carolina, and later became a director and general superintendent of factories and manufacturing for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. 

Walter developed the blend for Prince Albert tobacco and updated machinery in the factories.

He never married and died in 1921 at age 54.
