Camp Homestead will include a variety of interactive field games, STEM challenges, and adventures on the grounds of Reynolds Homestead. Enjoy 3 days of playing, exploring, building, creating and enjoying all summer has to offer!

Ancient Cultures Treasure Chests

Our Ancient Cultures Treasure Chests can provide your classroom with SOL-based, hands-on learning about Jamestown, Austrailia, Ancient Greece, Rome, China and more. To request an Ancient Cultures Treasure Chest for your classroom, email Sarah Wray.

Link to Education About Forests (LEAF) Trail

The Link to Education About Forests (LEAF) Trail is heritage-based outdoor classroom, targeted to 6th graders and which meets several Science and Social Studies SOLs. Teachers who wish to bring their students to the LEAF trail will receive the following: Self-Guided Interpretive Maps, SOL-based learning activities, and can choose a project to be completed with Forestry Superintendent Kyle Peer. Field Trips

The Reynolds Homestead offers a variety of field trip opportunities. Bring a group to view an art exhibition, see the LEAF Trail, tour the historic Rock Spring Plantation house, attend Victorian Christmas, and more. Call Sarah Wray at 276-694-7181 x27 for more information.
