Education and Program Intern
Reynolds Homestead is seeking a motivated, detail oriented, and passionate intern to assist with programming planning and implementation.
Work could include a combination of the following, based on skills and program needs:
Assist in planning, marketing, administration, and implementation of programs, events and summer camps
Coordinate summer field trips
Develop lesson plans incorporating historic home, African American enslaved community, and additional educational experiences incorporating VA SOLs
Assist in scheduling and leading teambuilding and leadership development programs
Creating an online archive of photos and documents
Assist with social media management
Administrative and other duties as assigned
A successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to equitable educational outreach and creative approaches to program planning and implementation.
This employer is willing to host a high school OR college-level intern for this paid internship. This program requires that selected interns work between 200-250 hours between May-August, exact dates to be confirmed in coordination with the successful applicant. Job duties and work schedules will be determined by the employer.
